Mirabelli in the Military
Life as a Navy Wife

MEET SARAH
Hello! My name is Sarah Mirabelli. I’m a recent edition to the Navy Wife family. Originally from Oklahoma, I’ve made Chicago my home for the last 7 years. This June, my wife, Stefanie, went away to bootcamp in Great Lakes, IL and started our military journey. After bootcamp, Stefanie went to A-School in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri to become an EO/Equipment Operator for the SeaBees (Construction Battalion).
Currently, we are stationed in San Diego, California and Stef works as an EO with the CB303 at the 32nd Street Base. A lot of my life has been hurry-up-and-wait for the last year. I'm so happy to finally be putting down some foundation again and get to know my wife again and this life as a Navy wife.
Stefanie and I are the proud parents of Dorian Gray, a 3 year old gray cat, Beckett James, our 1.5 year old Morkie and my wife’s best friend, Lola, aka Birdie, our 1 year old Pomeranian and our newest addition, Jackson, an adorable Pom puppy. These babies were such a comfort for me while their other Mamma was gone and even more joy now that we are all together again.
Mirabelli in the Military is our story from my point of view. I hope this blog helps others like me find comfort and support as we go through what it means to be a wife of a sailor. I'd love to hear from you about your journey or with any advice or questions you may have or hear your stories as a fellow Military significant other.
Thank you for reading.
